Specialty Coatings

Whether it's a simple compound or complex formula. Para-Chem produces specialty coatings that enhance the performance of numerous fabricated products - from very specialized textiles to everyday applications in apparel, automotive and home furnishings.  These latex coatings are beneficial in many ways as they:

• Help fabrics resist abrasion, bacterial growth, and aging
• Enable fabrics to withstand repeated cleanings
• Improve appearance
• Add durability
• Retard flammability

Our fire retardants include various dispersions compatible with all water-based polymers.  They provide fire retardation properties for many natural or synthetic fibers and allow those fibers to pass a number of major flammability standards.
